CBSE Class 10 Phase‑2 Results Expected Imminently

The release will set the final scores students use for Class 11 admissions and for any re‑evaluation requests.

Overview

  • CBSE held the Class 10 Phase‑2 exams from May 15 to May 21, 2026 for improvement and compartment candidates, and the board has not set an official date or time for the Phase‑2 result as of June 17, 2026.
  • About 6.68–6.8 lakh students registered for Phase‑2, with CBSE reporting roughly 85,285 compartment registrations, 525,655 improvement registrations, and 57,914 students enrolled for both categories.
  • When declared, CBSE will publish provisional digital marksheets on its official result portals and through DigiLocker, UMANG, SMS and IVRS so students can download verified scorecards before schools issue printed originals.
  • Under CBSE’s new two‑phase policy the board automatically keeps the higher of a student’s two scores and the scheme leaves internal and practical marks unchanged; students unhappy with their marks can seek re‑evaluation after results.
  • Several state boards are already issuing second‑chance scores — notably MPBSE released its Class 10 second‑exam scorecards on June 16–17 — showing how the wider roll‑out of two‑phase systems is affecting admissions timing and student progression.
