CBSE Cancels Class 10 Board Exams in Seven Middle East Countries Through March 11, Postpones Class 12 Paper on March 7

The board will review conditions on March 7 to decide on examinations scheduled from March 9.

Overview

  • CBSE’s decision applies to affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
  • All Class 10 papers set for March 7–11 are cancelled, and papers previously deferred on March 2, 5 and 6 also stand cancelled.
  • The Class 12 examination scheduled for March 7 is postponed with revised dates to be announced later.
  • CBSE will separately notify the mode of result declaration for affected Class 10 candidates in the Middle East.
  • Exams in India continue as scheduled after the Holi break, with the Class 12 Psychology paper conducted on March 5.
