- During that operation, the role of a conservation assistant surfaced, and he was arrested for allegedly using the attendant to collect the bribe.
- In the Municipal Corporation of Delhi case in Shahdara North Zone, a Beldar was caught accepting Rs 5,000 after allegedly seeking Rs 80,000 to stop demolition of a renovated home, and a junior engineer was later arrested after his role emerged.
- The agency says further investigation is underway to trace the full scope of the alleged network, and separate reporting notes two other MCD officials were held earlier this week in an unrelated graft case.
