Capital One’s Flagship ‘Landing’ to Open at LaGuardia Next Week With José Andrés–Led Tapas

The chef-led, reservation-based space signals Capital One's pivot from buffet lounges to paid, restaurant-quality hospitality.

Overview

  • The second Capital One Landing opens Wednesday, Feb. 18, in LaGuardia Terminal B and will operate daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • The 12,500-square-foot venue features a 2,250-square-foot kitchen, seating for 180-plus, floor-to-ceiling windows, an enclosed terrace with skyline views, and a 30-foot mural by Amrita Marino.
  • Developed with José Andrés, the restaurant-style experience centers on scratch-made Spanish tapas, with roaming “Daily Rituals” carts offering tableside martinis, vermouth service, caviar cones, and desserts.
  • Venture X primary cardholders keep unlimited entry, though one complimentary guest now requires $75,000 in annual spend; otherwise guests are $45 per adult, $25 for ages 17 and under, and free for children under 2.
  • Paid access is available at $90 for non-cardholders or $45 for Venture and Spark Miles holders, with entry limited to three hours before departure, and the app supports advance reservations, real-time capacity checks, and digital waitlists.
