Capital B Uses Fresh Funds to Buy 192 Bitcoin, Lifting Treasury to 3,135 BTC

A tiered warrant package could add €99.1 million for future bitcoin buys.

Overview

  • Capital B, which on Monday disclosed the move, bought 192 BTC for €13 million using newly raised cash.
  • The treasury now totals 3,135 BTC at a combined purchase cost of about $330 million, or roughly $105,270 per bitcoin.
  • The company raised about €17.15 million across three increases, including a €15.2 million placement led by Maxim Group with Marex that targeted investors in the U.S. and Europe.
  • That placement issued roughly 23 million shares with four attached warrants per share at strike prices of €0.86, €1.12, and €1.46.
  • If exercised in full, the warrants would bring in about €99.1 million through more than 92 million new shares, and institutional backers included Adam Back and TOBAM, with Back subscribing €1.1 million of warrants and TOBAM providing €850,000 via a separate increase.
