Overview
- Capcom has published a free playable demo for Resident Evil Requiem available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2 and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
- The demo covers portions of the game’s early stages and lets players control both FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and agent Leon S. Kennedy to show contrasting gameplay styles.
- Save files created in the demo cannot be transferred into the full retail game, so progress and unlocks must be replayed after purchase.
- Nintendo’s Switch 2 users can download the demo from the eShop, but storefront listings currently note the demo is not available from Nintendo’s web store at this time.
- Capcom is using the demo to highlight Requiem as a new directional entry in the Resident Evil series and to let players sample its blend of survival-horror and action before launch.
