- Kidney, 22, a 2021 second-round pick by Montreal, has 11 goals and 22 assists in 46 ECHL games this season and one assist in six AHL appearances; Chiasson, 22, has one assist in 20 AHL games and eight points this season in the ECHL with Allen.
- Laval also moved defenseman Ryan O’Rourke to the Senators for future considerations as part of the late roster shuffling.
