Canada Launches Defence Drone Initiative to Build Domestic Supplier Marketplace
The program will speed testing, prototyping, limited buys to grow Canada’s domestic drone industry and give the armed forces faster access to uncrewed systems.

- The RFSA will pre‑qualify a pool of suppliers so the Canadian Armed Forces and Canadian Coast Guard can rapidly draw on vendors for testing, prototype work and limited acquisitions; qualification will not guarantee a contract.
