Overview

  • Activision will stage a gated Early Access weekend for pre-orders followed by an Open Beta weekend to test servers and gameplay at scale.
  • The Early Access build lets players try Entrenched, a single-player campaign mission, alongside five new multiplayer maps and nine game modes.
  • The Open Beta adds Warzone’s Resurgence map Zodiac and extra multiplayer maps and modes, expanding the test into the free-to-play ecosystem.
  • The new DMZ extraction mode will not appear in the beta, a deliberate choice to reserve that mode’s content and discoveries for the full release.
  • Call of Duty Next will launch the beta with more than 1,000 creators streaming the game to drive visibility and produce a larger real-world stress test for systems.
