- The California Science Center, which announced the date Wednesday, said the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center will open to the public on Nov. 13, 2026.
- Endeavour will be displayed upright in a complete shuttle stack with its flown orbiter, two real solid rocket boosters and ET-94, the last flight‑qualified external fuel tank.
- The orbiter was mated into the vertical configuration during a six-month 2024 assembly called “Go for Stack,” a stacking process not previously done outside a NASA facility.
