Calgary Police Charge Two More in Saddle Ridge Extortion Shootings, Seek Third Suspect

Police say recent arrests have coincided with a short-term drop in violent incidents.

Calgary police say, since January 2025, there have been 41 extortion attempts in Calgary, including 18 shootings, but the efforts of investigators appear to be paying off with no reports of a major incident of violence within the past month.
Germanjeet SINGH, 22, is wanted on a warrant for discharging a firearm with intent in relation to an extortion-related crime where a Saddle Ridge home was shot at on two occasions.
