Overview
- RCMP said 17 people were on the charter bus when it left the road near Beaverlodge in northwestern Alberta.
- Two passengers were airlifted to Grande Prairie Regional Hospital and two others went by ambulance, all with critical injuries.
- Several other passengers were taken to hospital or treated at the scene for minor injuries, and no deaths have been reported.
- The crash occurred on Highway 672 west of the city of Grande Prairie.
- Police are still examining why the bus veered off the highway, and they have not determined whether the group was traveling to a job site or returning home.
