Bumeran: Candidates’ Requested Pay Rose 34.66% in 2025, Then Fell in December

  • Across 2025, requested pay climbed 34.66% versus 31.5% inflation, a far milder pace than 2024’s 165.31% jump against 117.8% inflation.
  • The biggest monthly increases were in January (+7.30%), September (+6.16%) and March (+5.34%), with July and September outpacing monthly inflation.
  • Top requested figures in 2025 included ARS 4,625,000 in Systems for jefe/supervisor roles and ARS 4,000,000 in Corporate Finance for senior levels, while Maintenance and Cleaning at junior level was lowest at ARS 640,000.
  • In December the gender gap in requested pay was 9.48% (men ARS 1,812,762 vs women ARS 1,655,770), and men accounted for a larger share of applications overall and in leadership tiers.
