BTS to Screen June 13 Busan Concert Live in More Than 3,800 Theaters Worldwide

The cinema broadcast will let fans everywhere join BTS’s 360-degree Busan homecoming with delayed screenings scheduled for Western time zones.

  • BigHit Music confirmed a live cinema event for the June 13 performance at Busan Asiad Main Stadium that will play in over 3,800 theaters across more than 80 countries.
  • Major Korean chains CGV, Lotte Cinema and Megabox and international partners such as PVR Inox and Shaw Theatres have signed on to host screenings.
  • Audiences in North America, South America and Europe will see delayed screenings within one to two days to account for time zone differences.
  • Tickets for the live-viewing will go on sale May 28 and the BTS Live Viewing site will publish local sale times and participating cinemas by region.
  • The cinema event is part of BTS’s ARIRANG world tour and uses the tour’s 360-degree in-the-round production adapted for big-screen sound and sight as a symbolic Busan homecoming after members’ military service.
