BTS Brings 'The City' Urban Takeover to London for Arirang Tour Stop

The program turns landmarks into immersive fan hubs designed to boost local business through increased visitor traffic.

Overview

  • BigHit Music confirmed on Monday that BTS will stage "BTS The City Arirang London" to coincide with the group's July 6–7 concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
  • The agency said core activations will launch on July 6 with the London Eye lit in vivid red and a large floating sculpture bearing the Arirang logo on the River Thames.
  • From July 8 to 10 Outernet London will host a themed media‑art exhibition that will fill the venue’s large LED canvases with visuals from the Arirang tour for an immersive audiovisual experience.
  • Independent reporting expands the schedule to July 4–10 and lists partner activations such as Korean Cultural Centre screenings, a Samsung Galaxy experience, a NIKE x BTS pop‑up, local food vendors and a River Thames boat route, though not all of those details were confirmed by BigHit.
  • The City began in Las Vegas in 2022 and has since been staged in Seoul and Busan, and the London edition continues a repeatable model that blends fan engagement, brand partnerships and public programming that can drive visitor traffic and local sales.
