Overview
- The court heard that on 29 November 2021 the six accused stopped a man on a path in Montserrat, forced him into a van and drove him to a finca in Catarroja, according to the public prosecutor.
- Prosecutors say the victim was beaten, struck with chains, threatened with the kidnapping of his family and the amputation of a finger, burned with embers and suffered a cut to an ear before being robbed and left naked with his hands tied on a road in Paiporta.
- Police arrested six suspects in Paterna, Alfafar and Albal and prosecutors have charged them with kidnapping, injuries, threats, robbery with violence, criminal group membership and related vehicle and document offenses.
