  • Denver selected Murdock with pick No. 257 on Saturday, closing the NFL Draft and giving him the annual ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ title.
  • Murdock set the FBS record with 17 career forced fumbles and posted 142 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss and five sacks in 2025 at Buffalo.
  • General manager George Paton called him a tackling machine and the staff expects him to contribute on special teams as he develops at inside linebacker.
  • Head coach Sean Payton said several teams tried to trade for the final pick, which Denver held along with No. 256 in a rare end-of-draft scenario.
