Winward Racing’s Philip Ellis and Bryce Ward were declared winners of the LP Building Solutions 120 after a left‑rear puncture on the CarBahn BMW handed them the lead late in the race.
The decisive curb failure happened with roughly 20 minutes remaining on Saturday when a piece of the Inner Loop curb broke and Jeff Westphal ran over it, cutting his left‑rear tire and dropping the No. 39 BMW out of contention.
A subsequent curb break produced another caution that brought the field behind the safety car to the finish, ending the race under yellow rather than under green-flag running.
