Overview
- Detectives have published an image of a man they want to speak to over a sexual assault on a DLR train that began at Canary Wharf on May 29 and stopped only after two passengers intervened.
- Police also released CCTV of a man wanted in the reported rape of a 17-year-old at Guildford station on January 19, 2025, and said specialist officers are supporting the victim and her family.
- BTP shared an image in relation to a reported sexual assault on a Crewe-to-Manchester train in March and separately released pictures over a Thameslink phone-snatch and assault on a London-bound service in early May.
- Officers said the incidents are being treated as separate investigations, several suspects remain unidentifed and there is a minor media discrepancy over where the DLR suspect alighted but that does not change the force appeal.
- Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 with the incident reference numbers or to report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
