British Airways Trims Summer Middle East Schedule, Retires Jeddah Route

The carrier cites regional instability to give customers clearer plans.

Overview

  • British Airways, which published a Summer 2026 update Tuesday, reduced Middle East flying through October 24.
  • London–Dubai drops from three daily flights to one until August 1, with a second daily service set to return October 16.
  • Doha, Riyadh and Tel Aviv shift from twice daily to once daily, with normal frequency targeted for August 1.
  • Flights to Bahrain and Amman are paused for the summer season, with service scheduled to restart October 25.
  • The Jeddah route ended permanently on April 24 after a review, and BA says it is helping customers with relief flights, added capacity and rebooking while it keeps the program under review.
