- British Airways announced on Wednesday that it will keep flights to Tel Aviv, Dubai, Bahrain and Amman suspended until at least October 25, 2026.
- The airline said it will cut Doha service to one daily flight from August 1 and reduce Riyadh to one daily from August 8 while confirming a permanent suspension of the Jeddah route.
- Passengers booked to travel to or from affected Middle East destinations through October 31 can request full refunds or rebook without change fees, the carrier said.
- Other major international carriers have also delayed returns to the region with some routes pushed into September or January 2027 while Etihad plans to increase Abu Dhabi–Tel Aviv capacity from mid‑June to as many as six daily flights.
- The moves reflect safety, regulatory and insurance reviews that have forced airlines to run relief and repatriation flights, reshape summer schedules and create travel disruption for passengers and hub operations during the peak season.
