- Bristol Myers announced Monday that it will invest about $2.3 billion to build a roughly 600,000-square-foot manufacturing campus at Generation Park in the Houston area.
- The company says the site will be able to make small-molecule drugs as well as complex biologics and antibody-drug conjugates, and it can be expanded or reconfigured as pipeline needs change.
- Bristol Myers projects nearly 500 long-term skilled positions at the campus and about 2,000 construction and related jobs during the build period from 2027 through 2030.
- Texas has offered a $4.89 million Texas Enterprise Fund grant for the project and the development qualifies for benefits under the state Jobs, Energy, Technology and Innovation program.
