Overview
- Bristol Motor Speedway announced plans on Sept. 14–15 to stage a multi-day tribute for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race weekend running Sept. 17–19.
- The centerpiece is a specially designed pink-butterfly tribute logo that the Dollywood Foundation formally approved for use by the track.
- On-track displays will include prominent butterfly signage on track walls and a race-ready decal that teams in NASCAR’s three national series can place on their cars.
- Fan-facing elements include a 15-foot by 7-foot tribute banner in the Fan Zone for messages and signatures and the continuous playing of Dolly Parton’s music across the property.
- The tribute is integrated into a star-studded Sept. 19 program that names Brad Pitt as grand marshal, Josef Newgarden as honorary pace car driver, and also features a Lap 18 tribute for Kyle Busch.
