Brighton Three-Vehicle Head-On Crash Kills 75-Year-Old, Injures Two

Overview

• Deputies say the collision occurred around 4:11 p.m. near 7th St. and County Trunk Highway BD in the Town of Brighton.
• A southbound vehicle crossed the centerline and hit a northbound car head-on, and a third vehicle then struck the first before coming to rest in an east-side ditch.
• The southbound driver, a 75-year-old man from Kenosha, was trapped in his vehicle and died at the scene despite life-saving efforts.
• The northbound driver was extricated and flown by Flight For Life to a Milwaukee-area hospital, and TMJ4 reports the injuries were not life-threatening.
• The driver of the third vehicle was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as the Kenosha County Major Crash Assistance Team continues its investigation.
