BrewDog and Tilray Offer £1 Million in Free Pints If England, Scotland or U.S. Reach World Cup Final

The limited promotion is designed to drive customers to participating pubs as part of BrewDog’s commercial rebound under Tilray after the brewer’s recent administration.

Overview

  • The companies said they will open a capped £1 million tab for free pints only if England, Scotland or the United States reaches the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
  • Redemption would begin July 20, the day after the final, with eligible fans wearing a team jersey able to claim up to two free pints on a first-come, first-served basis while funds and beer supplies last.
  • The offer is limited to participating BrewDog locations in England, Scotland, Ireland and Las Vegas and to Tilray-owned U.S. brewpub brands including SweetWater, 10 Barrel, Blue Point, Breckenridge, Montauk and Terrapin.
  • If none of the three teams reaches the championship match the £1 million tab will not be used, making the giveaway conditional rather than guaranteed.
  • The promotion follows Tilray’s March acquisition of BrewDog’s UK brewing operations and 11 pubs and is billed as a way to boost pub traffic, host watch parties and help rebuild the brand after administration and restructuring.
