Overview
- Bolsa Família’s January cycle runs from January 19 to 30, with deposits staggered by the last digit of the NIS and a minimum benefit of R$600 per family plus targeted add‑ons.
- INSS payments for those receiving up to one minimum wage begin January 26 and run through February 6 by benefit-number final, while payments above the minimum occur February 2–6.
- The INSS also finishes December 2025 deposits between January 2 and 8, completing the prior cycle before the 2026 calendar starts.
- PIS/Pasep abono payments are released by birth month from mid-February to August (for example, births in January start February 16 and in November–December start August 17), with amounts proportional to months worked in 2024 up to R$1,621.
- To receive the abono, workers must be registered for at least five years, have at least 30 days of formal work in 2024, meet the program’s income limit, and have accurate RAIS/eSocial reporting; consultations open February 5 via Carteira de Trabalho Digital, Gov.br and bank apps, with PIS paid by Caixa and Pasep by Banco do Brasil.
