- Medida Provisória nº 1.342, signed on March 17 and published on March 18, authorizes an extraordinary credit of R$1.305 billion for emergency response and reconstruction.
- R$500 million will capitalize the FAR to contract roughly 2,500 housing units in Minas Gerais for families displaced by the February–March rains, with Juiz de Fora and Ubá among the hardest hit.
- R$300 million will reinforce the FGO to guarantee loans and ease access to credit for individuals and businesses affected by the recent climatic events across the country.
- Another R$500 million is earmarked for credit operations aimed at climate mitigation and adaptation and for addressing social and economic impacts of public calamities nationwide.
- R$5 million will strengthen the SUAS network in Minas Gerais, with initiatives coordinated by the Ministries of Development and Social Assistance and of Cities and financial operations managed by the Ministry of Finance.
