Braintree Police Seek Person of Interest After Hotel Parking-Lot Shooting

Surveillance video identified a hotel guest as a person of interest who has not responded to police.

  • Police say the man, a registered guest, was shot in the foot in the Extended Stay America parking lot, with 911 calls coming just before 6 p.m. Saturday.
  • Officers later found him near the Men's Wearhouse on Granite Street and took him to South Shore Hospital for treatment.

  • Surveillance video identified a person of interest who is also registered at the hotel, and investigators have not been able to reach that individual.
