Boy, 4, and Woman, 79, Die After A157 Crash Near Louth

Police issue a fresh call for recorded footage to aid the crash reconstruction.

  • The 79-year-old woman who drove a grey MG 1300 died in hospital the day after the collision.
  • The crash happened on a straight section just after Gayton le Wold near Grimblethorpe and involved a blue Peugeot 108, a grey MG 1300, a white BMW X3, a black Volvo XC60, and a fifth car with collateral damage.
  • Detective Sergeant Melissa Ablitt’s collision unit has carried out forensic checks and is working to map the sequence of events.
