- More than 300 drivers based at the Bow garage have confirmed a four-day walkout from Thursday, March 19 to Sunday, March 22.
- Services 8, 25, 205, 425 and night routes N8, N25, N205 are expected to face severe disruption with little or no service.
- The striking staff are employed by East London Bus & Coach Company, which is owned by Stagecoach.
- Unite says drivers are sent out with inadequate breaks and as little as 10 hours between shifts, creating a safety risk for passengers and staff.
- Union officials say the action could be averted if Stagecoach returns to meaningful negotiations, as separate Tube strikes are also scheduled in the same period.
