- Detectives had been seeking the man in connection with a business robbery on Liverpool Street in Irlam just after 5pm Friday, when staff were threatened and cash was taken.
- No injuries were reported at the scene, where officers recovered a suspected BB gun believed to have been used to threaten workers.
