- Tyler’s body will be returned to William Pressdee Funeralcare in Mumbles on Saturday 15 August, with the public invited to line Newton Road from 3:15pm before the arrival scheduled for 3:30pm BST.
- A Celebration of Life service is scheduled at Swansea Minster on Monday 17 August at 12:00pm BST, after which the coffin will pass through her childhood village of Skewen at about 1:20pm en route to a private family committal.
- The family asked for family flowers only and has invited donations in lieu of flowers to two charities Tyler supported: Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales and Cerebral Palsy Cymru.
- Tyler, who had emergency intestinal surgery in May and was placed in an induced coma, died on July 8 in a hospital in Faro, Portugal after a period of intensive care and failing health.
- Across a five-decade career she became an international Welsh music icon with hits such as “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” earned an MBE in 2023, and has drawn widespread tributes from fans and public figures who will now have formal chances to pay their respects.
