Bomb Email Triggers Evacuation at Jaipur High Court and Sessions Court, No Explosives Found

Police open a probe to trace the sender in a month marked by repeated hoax threats.

An email sent to the Sessions Court’s official address claimed RDX was planted in High Court judges’ chambers, warning of three blasts and ordering evacuation by 2 pm.
Police evacuated both the High Court and the Sessions Court and launched coordinated searches with bomb disposal, dog squads, civil defence and other teams.
Searches began around 8:00 am and concluded near 10:30 am with no suspicious objects found, allowing both premises to resume functioning.
ACP Balaram said the alert was determined to be false following detailed checks.
An investigation is underway to trace the email’s origin, with police records citing six similar hoax threats this month and earlier messages to the Hanumangarh and Chhitorgarh collectorates.
