Overview
- A person who entered the Rock River near Highway N in Jefferson was reported by a companion and prompted an immediate water search that began Tuesday afternoon.
- Search operations were suspended around 9 p.m. Tuesday, resumed at 8 a.m. the next morning, and the body was recovered at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
