Body of Missing Truck Driver Found in Coastal Georgia, FBI Says

Federal agents now focus on tips that could map his final hours.

  • Alejandro Jacomino Gonzalez, 41, went missing after picking up a load of vehicles at the Port of Brunswick for delivery to Miami.
  • He was last seen around 1:21 a.m. on April 17 at the I-95 South rest area in Grant-Valkaria in Brevard County.
  • GPS later showed his truck move one exit south and then head north toward Jacksonville before it was found that day in Port Wentworth without him.
  • Three of the vehicles from the hauler were recovered in Florida, and the FBI’s Atlanta and Tampa offices are asking for tips at 1-800-CALL-FBI or tips.fbi.gov.
