Overview
- Divers with the Cherokee County Fire Department recovered a body at approximately 11:53 a.m. on Feb. 6 from a pond in Mayfield Park near Nathan Smith’s Milton, Georgia, residence.
- Milton police said there is currently no indication of foul play, and the Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate.
- Nathan Smith, 27, was reported missing on Feb. 3 after leaving his home around 6 a.m. without his phone, with police noting he may have been disoriented and in need of assistance.
- Lil Jon issued a statement confirming his son’s passing and expressing gratitude to law enforcement, rescue teams, volunteers, and supporters.
