Bluey’s Wild World Opens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom With App-Only Access

Two daily My Disney Experience virtual-queue drops are controlling entry to the new, train-only Bluey area, forcing changes to park crowd and transit patterns.

Overview

  • The experience officially debuted Tuesday, May 26, and is operating under a My Disney Experience virtual queue with two daily drops at 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., with the 7:00 a.m. distribution filling almost instantly on opening day.
  • Bluey’s Wild World is housed at Conservation Station (Rafiki’s Planet Watch) and requires the Wildlife Express Train to reach; the train now features new Australian-themed narration by Robert Irwin and guests should budget about 20–30 minutes for the round trip and walking time.
  • The offering is a short, roughly 10–15 minute interactive show where hosts lead families in games from the series and Bluey and Bingo roam the group for photos during play rather than a traditional, posed meet-and-greet.
  • Disney launched the site with strict capacity limits, separate outdoor and indoor queue areas, and no standby line at opening—company statements and reports say a standby option will be added later as operations are adjusted.
  • The conversion changes Animal Kingdom’s guest flow by driving demand to a formerly quiet corner of the park, brings Bluey-themed food and merchandise parkwide, and opens Jumping Junction as a view-only habitat for Australian animals while animal access and other details remain under development.
