Blue Reflection Quartet Releases as Four-Game Remaster and Recreation Package

The launch brings remastered console games plus recreated mobile and anime entries with user-friendly upgrades to preserve the series for new players.

Overview

  • Koei Tecmo and Gust released Blue Reflection Quartet on July 30, 2026 across PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch/Switch 2 and PC with a $49.99 PlayStation Store listing.
  • The package collects four entries: a remastered Blue Reflection, an updated Second Light, a recreated mobile story titled Blue Reflection Sun, and an exploration-based adaptation of the anime called Blue Reflection Ray.
  • Key new features include autosave, faster movement and battle speed, event fast-forwarding, updated textures and character models, plus eight new playable characters added to Second Light.
  • Early critical response is generally positive, with an OpenCritic aggregate around 78 and roughly two-thirds of reviewers recommending the collection for fans and newcomers.
  • By rebuilding the mobile game and turning the anime into a playable entry, the release preserves otherwise hard-to-find parts of the franchise and could widen its audience and encourage more archival projects.
