Overview
- Forsaken Kingdom is a two-part campaign set in the Undercity that reintroduces the Scarlet Crusade and characters such as Sylvanas and includes a new neutral hero, the Forsaken Paladin, with more than 30 hours of gameplay.
- Blizzard shipped a free Reforged update that fixes persistent bugs, adds a definitive graphics mode, boosts unit selection to 24, and improves the map-making world editor.
- The new campaign was released as paid DLC that can be bought standalone or in a bundle, and is available for Windows PC players of Warcraft 3 and Warcraft 3: Reforged.
- Warcraft 3: Reforged originally launched in January 2020 with missing promised narrative content, visual issues, bugs, and restrictive map-editor terms, problems that the new campaign and update are clearly intended to address.
- By tying Forsaken Kingdom’s story to World of Warcraft Forever and improving editor tools, Blizzard aims to re-engage players and map creators and may use this relaunch to rebuild trust in the Warcraft 3 community.
