Blackhawks Sign 2024 First-Rounder Sacha Boisvert to Three-Year Entry-Level Deal

The 6-foot-3 center is awaiting visa clearance that could set up an NHL debut later this week.

Boisvert could join practices and be available for games this week, pending visa processing, with Chicago playing Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Drafted No. 18 overall in 2024, the Quebec-born forward is viewed as a skilled, physical presence who adds size down the middle.
He posted 18 goals and 32 points as North Dakota’s 2024-25 Rookie of the Year before transferring to Boston University.
At BU this season, he recorded three goals and 14 assists in 26 games, served a two-game suspension in January after a fight, and was a healthy scratch to open the Hockey East tournament.
