Black Ops 7 Season 5 Arrives July 23 With Final Zombies Battle Set for August

Treyarch calls the August Reloaded update a capstone for BO7, offering a final free window to Endgame before the franchise moves to Modern Warfare 4.

Overview

Activision and Treyarch announced Monday that Season 5 launches on July 23 and will add new multiplayer maps Jubilee plus remastered Dig and Frequency along with mid‑season map drops.
The Season 5 Warzone update adds a new Verdansk point of interest called Drone Labs, new limited‑time modes and public events such as a Juggernaut showdown and the HKD killstreak.
Endgame receives a new Burn Run assignment that sends players racing a bomb‑rigged vehicle and introduces Ability Boosts to upgrade Major and Minor Abilities in Nightmare and Zone IV areas.
Zombies content at launch includes the Eidskallen Lighthouse survival map and Directed Mode for Kowakujō, with Treyarch planning a mid‑season Reloaded release in August that adds the final round‑based map and final boss Rex Infernus.
Season 5 is promoted as one of the last major BO7 updates and the final free access point to Endgame before updates and focus shift toward Modern Warfare 4 later this year.
