BKB 60 Headlined by Mick Terrill vs. Kamil Sokolowski in Newcastle

The Oct. 10 show marks BKB’s first event in Newcastle, signaling the promotion’s push to expand its U.K. footprint.

  • BKB announced on Aug. 20 that BKB 60 will take place on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Utilita Arena Newcastle, the promotion’s first-ever show in the city.
  • The main event will pit North Shields native Mick Terrill, listed 11-2 with 10 KOs by the promotion, against Kamil Sokolowski, a 3-1 BKB fighter with an extensive gloved-boxing résumé.
  • The co-main is a BKB super welterweight title defense with champion Rolando Dy (6-1) facing Scott McHugh, a three-time world champion and Bare Knuckle Hall of Famer.
  • The card will also feature returns from Joseph “JoJo” Diaz Jr. and undefeated welterweight Adel Altamimi, tickets go on sale Aug. 24, and additional bouts will be announced ahead of the event.
  • The Newcastle date furthers BKB’s U.K. expansion and aims to use local stars, crossover boxers, the Trigon stage, and the Police Gazette Diamond Belt to build regional interest and future title pathways.
