Overview
- The incident occurred around 1 a.m. at Salasar Chowk on Raipur’s Ring Road when a car allegedly struck a motorcycle, leaving 34-year-old DJ Tribhuvan in critical condition.
- Police said the accused, Balwant Singh alias Lucky, allegedly fled in another vehicle after the collision, and the biker was thrown off and dragged for a few metres.
- Investigators said Balwant confessed to driving at the time, and the car’s owner confirmed lending him the vehicle.
- Balwant was booked under BNS Sections 125(a) and 281 and was granted station-level bail on a Rs 50,000 bond with a guarantor.
