- Organisers Central BID and OPUS, in partnership with Birmingham City Council and city centre partners, have confirmed a full programme for July 22, 2026 that turns key public sites into tribute locations.
- The day will feature timed pop-up performances by Bostin Brass, a City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra lunchtime set at the Bullring and short films commissioned by OPUS to document the city's tributes.
- Birmingham New Street will host free Polaroid photos with the dressed 'Ozzy the Bull' and a commemorative guestbook run by the Birmingham Music Archive to collect fan memories for a lasting record.
- Merchandise and exhibitions will be available on the day, including a limited-edition T-shirt sold at Selfridges listing all 52 gigs Ozzy played in Birmingham and the city's 'Working Class Hero' exhibition remaining open.
- The event builds on a year of municipal honours and public memorials — including Black Sabbath's Freedom of the City and permanent artworks — and is intended to boost cultural tourism while preserving local memory.
