Bill Pullman Joins RSC’s The Cherry Orchard With Kenneth Branagh and Helen Hunt

• Bill Pullman will make his Royal Shakespeare Company debut as Gaev in a new version of Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard.
• Kenneth Branagh will play Lopakhin and Helen Hunt will play Madame Ranyevskaya in the summer production.
• The show is scheduled for the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon from July 10 to August 29.
• Laura Wade has adapted the play and RSC co-artistic director Tamara Harvey will direct, with design by Anna Fleischle and casting by Charlotte Sutton.
• Full casting and the remaining creative team are still to come, and Pullman said he took the role out of love for the play and even tried ChatGPT while researching his approach.
