Bihar Storms and Lightning Kill at Least Six, With Alerts Across 25 Districts

The weather office warns of further storms over the next two days with Yellow and Orange alerts covering much of the state.

  • The meteorological department issued a Yellow Alert for 21 districts and an Orange Alert for Araria, Kishanganj, Katihar and Purnia, forecasting gusts up to 60 km/h, a 3–5°C temperature drop and further risk to crops and livestock.
