BIGBANG Relaunches With New Single and Stadium Tour for 20th Anniversary

The trio framed the milestone as a new chapter with a cosmos-themed stadium production that heads to North America and Europe this fall.

Overview

  • BIGBANG released the digital single "BiiiG" on Aug. 19 to mark the group's 20th debut anniversary, with YG saying G-Dragon co-wrote and composed the high-energy hip-hop track.
  • The group opened the "XX: COSMOS" world tour with three sold-out shows at Goyang Stadium on Aug. 21–23, where the new single received its live debut alongside a career-spanning setlist.
  • YG and promoters credit music director Wow Jones, director Mike Carson and stage designer Es Devlin for a stadium-scale production built around a large mobile LED structure tied to the tour's cosmos theme.
  • Commercial demand has been strong: Coupang Play reported the Goyang general sale cleared all three dates in 22 minutes with roughly 210,000 concurrent users, and YG said the single topped Melon, Genie, Bugs and VIBE quickly after release.
  • The itinerary now lists 33 shows across 19 cities, with North American and European stadium dates in September and additional Asia and Oceania stops scheduled through Feb. 28, 2027, signaling an extended global push for the trio-era relaunch.
