Bienestar Opens Short August Registration Windows for Cash, Housing and Health Programs

The federal campaign uses weekend and weeklong convocatorias to enroll specific age groups into pensions, Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro and the new universal health credential to broaden service access.

Overview

  • The government activated weekend modules on Aug. 1–2 for Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro, CONAVI Vivienda para el Bienestar and some credencial appointments to let new applicants finish in-person registration.
  • A targeted incorporation period runs Aug. 3–8 for people aged 30–64 who already receive the Pensión para Personas con Discapacidad to complete enrollment and credencialization.
  • The Credencial del Servicio Universal de Salud remains open through Nov. 14 with an alphabetized surname schedule that organizes visits at more than 2,136 Bienestar modules.
  • Applicants must register in person at official Bienestar modules, present photo ID, recent proof of address, CURP when required and a contact phone number, and the process is free with no intermediaries.
  • Officials say the short convocatorias aim to link beneficiaries into IMSS-Bienestar services and payment systems, a step that could speed access to medical care, monthly stipends and housing supports for enrolled people.
