B&H and Amazon Push MacBook Prices to Record Lows

In-cart coupons triggered by Apple’s storage reshuffle are fueling a fast-moving price war.

Overview

  • B&H, which posted fresh lows Monday, advertised up to $500 off MacBook Pros with a 14-inch M5 configuration listed at $1,499.
  • Amazon marked down specific 14-inch M5 Pro models to new all-time lows, including 24GB RAM with a 2TB SSD at about $2,341 and a 24GB/1TB build near $1,984.
  • Upgraded 32GB M5 MacBook Pro options also hit records, with Amazon pricing the 32GB/1TB at $1,849 and B&H offering a 32GB/512GB build at $1,649 after Apple dropped 512GB tiers in March.
  • B&H used in-cart coupons to cut M5 MacBook Air prices by up to $180 and undercut Amazon on several 15-inch Midnight models, while Amazon kept $150 off many 13-inch versions.
  • Some prior-generation M4 MacBook Air units briefly fell under $1,000, and prices now swing by color and configuration with short windows tied to daily events and limited stock.
