Overview
- Three consecutive weekend closures of the Nord‑Süd‑Tunnel are confirmed for Feb. 6–9, 13–16, and 20–23, halting S1, S2, S25 and S26 between Yorckstraße and Gesundbrunnen from Friday 22:00 to Monday 01:30.
- DB InfraGO is conducting annual maintenance and cleaning in the tunnel during the shutdowns.
- Replacement buses will run in two segments: S1A between Yorckstraße (Großgörschenstraße) and Friedrichstraße, and S1B between Friedrichstraße and Gesundbrunnen.
- S5 and S75 are operating with timetable deviations due to a line repair in Biesdorf, including roughly 10‑minute holds at Kaulsdorf and a broken 10‑minute pattern limited to Hoppegarten–Wuhletal and Ostbahnhof–Westkreuz.
- Passengers are advised to switch to RB26 and U5 where available and to watch for temporary platform changes, including departures from tracks 1, 11 and 12 for Strausberg/Strausberg Nord and Hoppegarten services.
